JHRS started in 1971, originally to offer plumbing and electrical services to the home extension market. We soon found a need for our services to the commercial sector, particularly with office fit-out companies. We were repeatedly being asked to assist these companies with the actual fit out works and after several years started to work on our own account.

We were approached by a local partitioning company to carry out all of their works, on a sub-contract basis; the owner would then only source the works and not be involved in the job. When the owner decided to retire JHRS took over these contracts, many of these customers are still with us today.

In fact we still work for our very first client for the late ‘1970s’.
