Partitions & Dry Lining

Many new buildings, especially, modern ‘steel and clad’ types are now left with either plain brick/block work or aluminium cladding to the inside.

While this is acceptable for a warehouse or factory, when an office or retail environment in required Dry Lining can provide a cost effective solution, formed of a steel framework covered with – usually – a single layer of plasterboard – similar in construction to the fire rated system above.

The panels can be ‘joined’ to give a plain flush wall, ready to receive decoration – or – especially if speed is required, vertical aluminium over strip over the joints. Again this can be integrated and matched with either of the most systems for a complete solution.

Dry lining is also used to cover poor walls, (often in shops) negating the need to strip and plaster them, leaving a plain smooth surface ready to receive decoration.
